Nothing says preThanksgving like Pie...so our Potluck Is All Pie Night.
Friday, November 16th at 6:00pm in the dining room/Bancroft Room.
 
This means bring any kind of pie (homemade or good store bought). savory or sweet,.fruit, meat, fish, veggie; crust, crustless or special toppings.
 
Why not bring a variation on the pie theme, like pizza pie, empanadas, cornish pasty, tarts, flans, galette, cobbler, cobble, crumble or a buckle.
 
Make an old favorite or try something new. 
 
Please make and bring a label And,  If you bring the recipe it just might be the beginning of a Sisterhood Recipe Book!!
 
My Mouth is watering!! See you then.

November 16 Friday Potluck- “Pie Night” Potluck on this night is to bring a pie. This can be any kind, fruit, meat, veg. International like empanadas, Cornish pasties, calzone, even pizza pie! Tarts or Flans. Buy or make. Can’t wait to see what you bring.

Our Delicious, No Work, UU Sisterhood Pumpkin Pie Filling is Ready for Sale.

Just in time for Thanksgiving.

After services on Sunday, the Sisters will be selling their delicious pumpkin pie filling, until it's gone.

For a $10.00 donation you will receive a 2 pound flexible pouch of pumpkin pie filling. The filling is frozen, just defrost when ready to bake. Instructions are included.

Our pouch makes one generous pie, just pour into your homemade or frozen crust and bake. Or get creative and bake it on its own and cool. Add whip cream and make a delicious parfait.

We've done the work, you get the credit.  It's easy as pie!

All proceeds over costs benefit the UU Sisterhood Programs and Women's Retreat Scholarship Fund.

Upcoming Sisterhood Events for 2015


Friday October 16th at 6pm.  Potluck and Casino Night. Join us for Black Jack, Roulette, BINGO, Poker and LOTTO. House stake provided - no real money, just fun.

Sunday November 8th at 12:30pm. It's Pumpkin Pie Filling Making Time Again! Join us for our 3rd trip to Flavor First Foods (F1) in West Bridgewater to make our delicious UU Sisterhood Pumpkin Pie Filling just in time for Thanksgiving. Carpools available and a stop for lunch on the way. Sale of the filling is our primary fundraiser for programs. See more details at church.

Friday November 20th at 6pm. Potluck and speaker: Marilyn Polito, a docent from Preservation Worcester will speak to us about The Corsets Industry in Worcester. This is a great topic, rich with our history and worldwide fame. We're sure you will love this!

Sunday December 13th at 12:30pm. Sister's Christmas Caroling. Join us for our annual visit to area Nursing Homes to sing carols with the residents and bring some holiday cheer. You don't need to be a great singer, just enthusiasm and a holiday spirit. See more details at church. Bring brown bag lunch.

Friday, December 18th at 6pm. Potluck and Our Holiday Party. We'll celebrate the Solstice with music, poetry stories, song and dance, includes a brief memorial to Betty Hoskins.
